A wonderful holiday…

We spent Christmas Eve at my younger sister’s house, and Christmas Day at my mother-in-law’s house. Both celebrations were so much fun…

At my sister’s, Santa (my dad–he does it every year for the little ones) visited, and the kids loved it. He got onto the roof, rang some bells, and all the kids went running outside to see him:

My sister (here with my mom, me, and my sister-in-law)

cooked an amazing spaghetti dinner and we celebrated a few birthdays in our family with grasshopper pie for dessert.

At my mother-in-law’s, the food was a highlight too…

and her table was gorgeous:

It was so nice to see everyone, and it was great to celebrate such a special time with the people we love the most!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday too! :)

  3. I'm glad you had a wonderful and enjoyed being with your family. That table is beautiful. I'd love to do something like that sometime for our family. Happy celebrating into the New year.

  4. It looks like you had a great Christmas celebration with your family. I love that you Dad does Santa. We had a friend do that when the girls were really little, but he would come in when the girls were just settling down for bed so the girls would just sneak a peak. Reid still wonders about those Santa visits!
