San Francisco and Sacramento Book Reviews–from the computer to print…

I’ve mentioned before that I review books for the San Francisco Book Review and the Sacramento Book Review.

Recently, the owner/co-publisher sent me and the other reviewers photos of the process of getting the publication from the computer onto newsprint. It was fun to see, so I thought I’d share…

So there you go. If you live in the Sacramento or San Francisco area in California, be sure to look for a copy. Or, if not, you can always stop by the Web sites, browse around, and read some online reviews.

And then go pick up a good book. :)

That is very cool Genny! I'm hoping to be back in the San Francisco area in December with hubby on a business trip. I LOVE San Francisco!!!

  2. That is extremely cool! :) I used to work at a daily newspaper and remember checking out the processes in the basement!

  3. I've visited printing plants a couple of times (to see magazines) printed and am always blown over by the intricacy of the process. No wonder it's so expensive to print pages. And no wonder so much is moving online from print.Cost savings will drive much of what's currently printed online. But still, there's nothing like holding that printed product in your hand is there?
