Memorial Day – Pausing and Appreciating
They showed this powerful video (below) at our church this weekend and it truly made me pause and appreciate all those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom, and for the freedom of our kids and generations to come.
It is powerful video and worth watching; take a minute to check it out…
I FOUGHT FOR YOU
If you or your family serve or have served in the military, or if you’ve lost a loved one in service…
thank you for your sacrifice.
Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend, everyone.

Mom-Mondays will be back next week!
Moved me to tears. My father was a German POW for 4 months after being captured during the Battle of the Bulge. General Patton’s troups freed his camp. My family was blessed to have Dad talk about it; he even spoke as part of my project for a college course and later to a class of my students. We have much for which to be thankful and the rural school district where I teach regularly honors the military. At those times, even the surliest, orneriest, meanest bullies quiet down and show respect. As with many lessons that are no longer taught at home, the schools need to continue to ‘stand up’ for our military men and women and their sacrifices.
Thanks for sharing this. I came through a ‘back door’ of a blogger who has your button. This is a wonderful blog.:>)
Thank you for sharing, Beth. This truly moved me. And thanks for your kind words; I’m so glad you stopped by!
