A great giveaway–just in time for the holidays!
My blogging friend Robin from Around the Island–who happens to be an accomplished fine art and nature photographer–has recently begun making photoverse prints.
The prints combine her photography with verses, poems, or custom quotes.
I’ve admired Robin’s photography for a while. Here’s one of her pictures:
I love the contrast here between the blue in the vase and the orange flower! |
She has a way of capturing lighting, angles, nature and architecture that somehow makes you feel when you look at her work. And I love the way she’s using her photographs (which are stunning) to create her new line of photoverse prints. I think they make such personal, meaningful gifts.
Click over to Robin’s Etsy shop to check out some of her beautiful photos!
And here’s the great news:
She’s giving away a photoverse print here, just in time for the holidays! The print will be 5 x 7 and will be matted on single weight matte board. (Framing is not included, but can be purchased.)
The winner of the print can choose from any photo in her her Etsy shop and can supply any (reasonable length) verse with it. Photos with a bit of space in them work best, as do shorter verses.
Examples in the Christian Art section of her shop are ready made, but they are simply suggestions.

"Be still and know that I am God."Psalms 46:10
Would be fun to win one of these. Beautiful!
Wow…beautiful photographs. My favorite is The Magician's Rod.Thanks!Kelly
Argh – just purchased two of Robin's photos printed on canvas! Could have used that 15%, but I have to say, her work is so beautiful that at full price, it's still a bargain.Robin has a photo in her shop of the wall of a reconstructed olive press with a door in it. I would use that, plus this verse:Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. Rev 3:20
I would love to win!
What a great gift idea! I'm off to look at her selection! I want to to learn how to do that with my photos:) Merry Christmas!
I don't know if I could choose between the pink and the firework chrysanthemum!
If I wanted a picture for my boys and family theme, it would be the railroad picture – masculine, yet with an innate theme of moving forward. If it was just for me, the saturday afternoon walk just thematically and the misty color just pulls my imagine. The chimney and the blue – intrigues me, but the quote would have to seal the deal. However, my inside person says Saturday Afternoon Walk!I just can't seem to write small answers:)

Psalm 62:5 Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.
I follow your blog. :)
What an ace opportunity! I love Robin's photography, and I think this new venture of hers has great scope for success. I sure would love to win one of her prints!I'd choose a verse from Psalm 121, but I'd have to think very carefully which one! Its my favourite Psalm!
Following your blog and loving it!!
Count me in! Thanks for the chance to win!
I love the nature images! But to go with my verse (Proverbs 3:5-6) I might choose The Magician's Rod. On second thought, that passage might be too long, so I might make a different choice.Maybe the Cone Flower with Prov. 3:5.
Oops, I included my choice of verse in the same comment as my favorite image.I'd choose Prov. 3:5-6 (or if that's too long, just verse 5).
I've been admiring Robin's work since I starting reading her blog. I was born in Israel, and they bring back really beautiful memories when I look at them.Shirli Canada
