Kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with…. my friend Lisa!
I’m sure many of you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So to kick things off, I wanted to share some super-exciting news. Remember the Pink Glove Dance I posted about a while ago?
Well, they created a Pink Glove Dance Sequel and…
my friend Lisa is in it!
She’s famous! :)
And she’s as beautiful in real life as she is in the video. She’s the one with brown hair, wearing jeans and a pink and white tie-dyed shirt, skipping in a circle with another girl by the water. It’s near the end of the clip and she’s on the right side of the video. (Can you tell I don’t want you to miss her?)
Isn’t that cool?
If the video doesn’t come up for some reason, you can watch it here. (You’ll be glad you did; it’s so inspiring and I guarantee it will leave you with a smile on your face!)
Lisa reads my blog so please take a minute to leave her a comment and say hi. She’s an amazing woman, wonderful mom, life-long friend, and a FIVE YEAR BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR!
You rock, Lisa! Love you!
I loved the video!Lisa, I am so thankful you are now Cancer free! I rejoice and praise the Lord that you have your health. My grandmother had breast cancer. I began have Mammos at the age of 35. Awareness is huge! Blessings to you!

Yea! Celebrating five years, Lisa! I understand the blessing! My mom was a cancer survivor for many years, and my dh and I just celebrated three bonus years together since his life threatening illness and surgery. God is GOOD!! Thanks Genny for sharing your friend and her story!!
