Spiders and Soap and String, Oh My
If you saw my post Keeping My Eyes Open, I have to tell you that my son got me back for that nighttime scare. The other day, I found this tied to my steering wheel by a rubber band when I got in the car (a prank he’s pulled before, although that didn’t make it any less “surprising”)…
Then later that same day, when I went to take a sip of tea, this little one had somehow been put next to my cup:
My son and I both had a good laugh, but I’m pretty sure he laughed a little harder than I did.
Oh, and did I mention that in addition to having a sense of humor, he’s also creative? A couple of days ago, I found a bar of soap, squished and molded into “planets”, stuck to the wall of his shower:
No wonder he was in there longer than usual.
I didn’t happen to get a picture of the paper airplanes that covered the floor of his room last week, or the pieces of string he left all over the house when he was done with his “string invention”. You’ll just have to trust me–both were a sight to see. But airplanes or string, spiders or soap, I’m thankful for all the laughs and adventures that come with raising my son.
What a creative kid!
