For Mother’s Day a few year’s ago, my son gave me a hand-painted ceramic pot with a fabric flower inside of it:

It was the perfect gift for me because I don’t have a green thumb (at all!).  And I loved the poem that he put inside the pot:

Tweet: It reminded me that as moms, whether we have a green thumb or not, we are still gardeners.

Sure, our kids can be rough and tumble (and impossible and frustrating) sometimes,

but they are fragile and delicate too…
