I’m excited to be the featured blogger today over at The SITS girls, a great resource and a network of thousands of amazing blogs.

If you’re stopping by from SITS (or from somewhere else), welcome! I hope you’ll stay a while, look around, and share a cup.

Just a quick introduction, if we haven’t met:
I’m Genny, a far-from-perfect mom who loves to write and share some of my parenting experiences here, along with other snippets of life. You can find out more about me and my blog here. And if this is your first time at MyCup2Yours, be sure to introduce yourself. I’d love to learn more about you!

From real-life stories about my own motherhood journey (and how some days, parenting is hard), to posts about not being perfect or tips for parenting picky eaters and toddlers, I hope you find something helpful or inspiring while you’re here.

I’d love to have you stop by next Monday for Mom-Mondays tooa day each week for mom-related stories, tips, articles and inspiration. I have a link list up every Monday; all you need to do to add your URL to the list is add my button to your site. It’s just a simple way for moms to come alongside other moms.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to leave a note before you leave; I’ll look forward to “talking” with you in the comments today!

p.s. I didn’t put up a specific Mom-Monday post today because of my SITS feature, but I’ll be back at it next week!

p.p.s. I’d love your input on the parenting book I’m working on! To read an excerpt or submit one of your own “mom-moments” that might get included in the book, click here.

At the moment, my favourite thing is my satsuma mandarin orange tree, which is completely covered with sweet, juicy oranges.2. Do you have any kids and if so, how many? What parenting advice would you give in one sentence?I have two children. "Read all you want, and listen to everyone's advice, but in the end, do what's right for you and feels right in your gut."3. Do you have a blog? If so, what's the name and URL? What do you typically write about? My blog is called "Craving a Little Perspective" (https://lostinaseaofblogs.wordpress.com) and I write about things I wonder about, things I learn, and things that amuse and bemuse me. Happy SITS day!!
