A wonderful mom and her Bloggertunity…

Welcome to Mom-Monday! I’m glad you’re here.

I’m also glad to introduce you to one of my writing friends, Stephanie Sheaffer:

Not only is Stephanie the woman behind the popular Metropolitan Mama blog, she’s also a sweetheart and the mom of two darling girls.

She’s one of those inspiring women who is able to balance many things at once, and who has a passion for having a positive impact on the world.

Stephanie lives in Arizona with her husband and daughters, where she enjoys reading, writing, running, and going on long walks with her family. She has a Bachelors degree in English and a Masters degree in Educational Counseling, and she won’t get mad at you if you spill kool-aid in her car. She’s nice like that. :)
Stephanie’s blog is always packed with great content (parenting tips, product reviews, how-to articles, inspirational reads), and she’s recently written an e-book that shares her secrets on how she’s been successful. I’m so happy for her!

If you’re thinking about starting a blog or looking for a way to take your blog to the next level, I highly recommend reading her book. It’s called Bloggertunity: A Mom’s Guide to Blogging:

Stephanie’s own personal experience with blogging and writing will inspire you, and the practical tips she includes will benefit beginning and experienced bloggers alike. The book not only talks about how you can “have fun, make money, and change the world” through blogging, it details the ways you can do it.
So stop on by Stephanie’s and check her e-book out. I’m sure you’ll be glad you did.
And don’t forget to leave her a comment and say hi while you’re there. :)

What about you? Do you have a blog? If so, what has been your experience with blogging?
On a more general note, are you balancing motherhood with other things too, like writing, working, or pursuing something else? I’d love to hear about it!

If you haven’t already, leave your URL in the link list below so other moms can stop by your site. Just a simple way for moms to come alongside other moms.

  1. I always look forward to reading new posts on Stephanie's site. I found her while we were both pregnant with our second child and our first children are close in age too. I trust her product reviews and have bought several products based on her recommendations. I have not been disappointed.

  2. Ugh. I am in such a blogging rut. I feel like I just cant keep up!!! (self induced I know)Blessings-Amanda

  3. My blog has been a growing experience. My passion is writing, but it has taken a load of prayers and pondering to determine a balance between posting because I have something to say and posting because I feel like I should…or the balance between sharing where the Lord is leading me or trying to convince others to follow.

  4. Stephanie is one of my favorite bloggers — along with YOU! She packs so much heart, common sense and fun into her posts. I always learn something, and I'm learning to be a better blogger, I think, by watching her. So glad you profiled her and her blog here!

  5. I will surely check her out. Sounds like a great book. Balancing anything with motherhood is never an easy task. Even blogging! I'd love to read what tips she has to offer.

  6. Thanks so much, Genny. I'm honored and humbled by your post. :)stephanie@metropolitanmama.net
