While I’m “away” — links, news, and a quick note…

While I’m “away” working on revisions to my novel, I thought I’d post a few links to recent articles I’ve written and share some news…

First, the links:

If you’re interested in some tips on how to make tutoring a positive experience for your kids, you can read about that here.

Or, if you want to read about the “Sandwich Generation”–the many moms (and dads) sandwiched between caring for their own kids as well as their parents–you can do that here.

And if you didn’t catch my post “Creating Quality Time by Ignoring the Clock”, you can stop by HybridMom.com and read it here.

Now, some fun news to share:

You’ve all heard of Kirsty, right? (If not, be sure to check it out. It’s a fun site with some great reads.) A while back, Kirtsy announced that they were holding a contest to come up with a title for their book. I recently found out that I was selected as one of their three winners and that one of my posts will be included in the book. Kirtsy Takes A Bow – A Celebration of Women’s Favorites Online is scheduled to be published this spring. Very fun!

And another fun thing that just happened (maybe I should take a “blog break” more often) is, thanks to Amanda, MyCup2Yours was listed at blogs.com as one of the “10 Great blogs for Moms”. Thanks for the mention, Amanda.

Thanks also to everyone who has commented or sent emails wishing me well as I’ve launched into working on my novel. I truly appreciate the kind words. :)
